The Moscow Kremlin museums
The Kremlin covers the history of Moscow and Russia, life of the Russian Tsars, the stories behind the buildings and monuments inside the Kremlin, among them the famous Tsar Bell and Tsar Cannon, the Armory Chamber, The Assumption Cathedral, Cathedral of the Annunciation and The Cathedral of Archangel Michael. Closed on Thursdays The Armory Chamber – preserves ancient state regalia, ceremonial tsar’s vestments and coronation dress, vestments of the Russian Orthodox Church’s hierarchs, the largest collection of gold and silverware by Russian craftsmen, West European artistic silver, ceremonial weapons and arms, carriages, horse ceremonial harness. Operating sessions at 10:00; 12:00; 14:30; 16:30.
The Diamond Fund – the Fund was created by Peter the Great as storage of unique state treasures and jewelry. Has an unique collection of jewelry arts of the best masters from Russia and world-wild. There are rare samples of gems and nuggets of precious metals.

State Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts – the collection of museum consists of more than 560 000 artworks since 5000 BC. Visitors can see masterpieces of Botticelli, Rubens, Poussin, Bucher, Manet, Degas, Van Gogh, Gaugin, Mattisse, Picasso. Closed on Mondays.

The State Historical Museum – it is a national treasure chest of Russia and the storage of world-famous historical relics such as antique arms, icons, hand-written books etc. Closed on Tuesdays and 1st Monday of every month.
Museum of War 1812 – dedicated to the War with Napoleon and includes 1000 exhibits. Closed on Tuesdays.
